time, she flies

today was the last day of my job. i'm currently working on an inventory of "what i learned on summer vacation." so look for that in a few days.

that noted, things may be spotty for the next few days as w and i are going on vacation. bristow, va for a show, then philly to see a friend and hit another show, atlantic city for the night, balitmore for a third and final show, up to foxwoods in connecticut for two nights, culminating with a few nights in maine visiting a friend we know from nola. very cool girl who we haven't seen in over a year now. should be fun...despite being from the northeast, i have never been to maine and perhaps we'll run intio the bushes. kennebunk (where we're going) is reportedly one of their favorite vacation spots. but internet access will be sporadic.

a new school year beginning makes me think about time. this whole process is really flying by, though individual moments often feel like ages. for a friend of mine who is away from home right now, i hope time, she flies.

Seriously, I just hope you wax your eyebrows before you leave town. I am not kidding.

And where are you going to put your suit, huh?

when they came to pick up the dog, she was like "are you going to get your suit drycleaned before the interviews?"
